2024 Chronicle

Dear Stand Upright Community,

We are incredibly grateful and excited to share the remarkable progress we've made in serving our community throughout 2024 and into 2025. This wouldn't have been possible without the dedication and compassion of our volunteers and the continuous support of our board members.

Over the past year, Stand Upright has worked for hundreds of volunteer hours to connect the homeless to vital resources. We've organized more than a dozen events, helping an average of 75 people monthly. Our most significant outreach session supported 52 individuals in need, providing access to homeless shelters, government cleanup programs, clothing, and food – just a few of the many services we offer.

We are truly humbled by the outpouring of support from our community. In the last three months alone, sixty new volunteers from East San Jose alone joined our cause, and we cannot express our gratitude enough.
Looking ahead, we have ambitious plans to extend our reach beyond East Side San Jose. We believe that together, we can make an even greater impact in the coming years.
