About
Over the course of 2024 and into 2025, Stand Upright made significant strides in serving the community by providing meals, assisting with forms, and connecting people to new resources. Throughout the course of several events, we distributed a total of 243 meals, reaching 168 individuals. The largest meal distribution occurred on August 5, 2024, where we provided 52 meals to those in need. Subsequent events had a variety of participants, varying between 14 and 50 people, reflecting our ongoing ability to meet the changing needs of the community.
In addition to feeding individuals, we assisted with 25 forms, helping community members access essential services. A total of 13 people received direct help with filling out forms, with notable support provided on dates like August 6, 2024, and September 24, 2024, where we assisted 4 individuals each day respectively. These forms were crucial in connecting people with benefits they otherwise might not have known how to access.
Through these events, we introduced 108 new beneficiaries to our services, ensuring they received the support and resources they needed. The outreach was further strengthened by our collaboration with 12 different organizations, including 11 non-profits and 1 government agency. These partnerships allowed us to expand our reach, improve the quality of our services, and ensure that more people in need could access the resources available to them.
Overall, the impact of our efforts over this period demonstrates our dedication to serving the community. Through consistent meal distribution, assistance with forms, and expanding our network of beneficiaries, we’ve been able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many. Moving forward into 2025 and beyond, we are committed to continuing this work and broadening our efforts to help even more individuals and families.
